摘要

近年来,语言和文化的关系,特别是跨文化交际已经成为语言研究的一个重要课题。人们越来越意识到语言和文化是不可分的。每种语言都有自己丰富的文化内涵。英语教学不仅是语言知识的教学,也是了解目的语国家文化背景知识的教学。 本文在理论上讨论跨文化交际、语用能力、语用失误、和提高学生语用能力问题的教学策略问题。同时我们指出跨文化交际时存在的固有问题,并对怎样提高跨文化交际能力给出了一些意见。 依据以上理论,在课堂教学过程中,我们应该逐步介绍中西方社会文化背景知识,有意识地让学生了解英语文化和汉语文化的差异,增强学生跨文化交际意识,避免语用失误现象的出现。 本论文共分五章. 第一章主要介绍了大学英语教学的现状,写作目的,及其客观性;第二章研究国内外学者对跨文化交际、语用能力及语用失误、语言文化和交际之间的关系的理论描述。为如何提高学生语用能力的研究提供了理论依据;第三章针对大学生语用能力和跨文化交际现状做了调查和研究,全面了解大学英语教学中教与学过程中的问题和现状;第四章针对调查结果,本文提出在大学英语教学中如何通过各种途径提高教师学生的跨文化交际能力、语用能力的一些建议.第五章是本文的总结.
