摘要

加拿大杰出的女诗人、小说家玛格丽特·阿特伍德于2003年4月发表了最新一部小说《羚羊与秧鸡》。本文的目标在于从生态批评和当代叙事学理论的角度出发，发掘《羚羊与秧鸡》中的主题特色和叙事特色两者之间的有机结合，以及由此产生的文学影响力。本论文的创新之处在于，对阿特伍德的小说《羚羊与秧鸡》进行深入研究，从生态和叙事的角度对小说进行全面的分析，以便突破传统的主题研究以及新批评细读法研究的局限性。本文尝试将主题研究和叙事学研究这两种研究手段综合起来，重点发掘阿特伍德对未来的世界图景、疾病、克隆技术的滥用、人文与政治危机等生态主题的表现，分析叙事聚焦、自由间接引语以及互文等叙事手法的灵活应用，从而揭示阿特伍德在其最新小说中如何运用灵活的叙事手法来表达深刻的生态关注，并向读者敲响生态保护的警钟。
