《“兴风作浪”：政治、宣传与日本帝国海军的崛起，1868-1922》第八章汉译项目报告

摘要

本报告是基于《“兴风作浪”:政治、宣传与日本帝国海军的崛起，1868-1922》第八章的汉译过程，提出其中翻译重难点及相关问题，并分析产生的原因。在此后的译审过程中，根据与导师的译文进行对比分析，提出问题相应的解决方案。
　　在第八章的汉译过程中，笔者发现重难点在于军事术语的翻译，名词短语的翻译以及长句的翻译。在军事术语的翻译中，本项目报告主要借助词典等翻译工具及应用平行文本所提供的有关信息加以解决。在名词短语的翻译中，笔者通过与导师的译本对比，提出两条翻译原则，一、词性转换原则;二、情境原则。而在针对长句的翻译上，笔者依旧通过对比研究，提出了三种翻译方法，一、句型重构法;二、顺译法;三、变词为句法。
　　历史作品的汉译不仅考察了译者是否能熟练地将翻译原则和方法等运用于具体文本，还考察了其是否具备充足的历史、政治、文化知识储备，因此，本项目报告旨在就发现的翻译问题提出解决方案，以期为未来历史文本的汉译研究做出贡献。
