精英主义立场：从文化的视角解读纳博科夫小说《洛丽塔》

摘要

弗拉季米尔．纳博科夫在20世纪美国文坛，甚至是世界文坛都占有重要的一席之地。作为一名俄裔美国作家，纳博科夫具有双重的俄罗斯和美国文化背景。《洛丽塔》可以说是20世纪最具争议的小说之一。正如拉莫尔的评论一样：“《洛丽塔》属于那种罕见的文化现象，在公众的意识中打下深深的烙印，从最严肃的知识分子群体到手心淌汗的美国小镇青少年，无一例外。” 在表面炫目而张扬的故事情节下，《洛丽塔》包含了两种文化的冲突，即通俗文化与精英文化的冲突。纳博科夫会作出何种选择呢?本论文旨在探索纳博科夫在《洛丽塔》里的文化立场。 这篇论文分为六个部分。 第一部分简要介绍了国内外对纳博科夫及《洛丽塔》的研究成果，提出本文的思路及论点，阐述了本文的理论基础、研究方法及基本框架等。 第二部分简明扼要地说明了《洛丽塔》创作的文化背景，为下部分的进一步分析提供基础。 第三部分分析了作为通俗文化的主体人群形象；通俗文化对主体人群的降格影响；认为纳博科夫自创的文化批评概念一媚俗是对通俗文化的歧视。 第四部分围绕着纳博科夫的一个重要创作理念一彼岸世界展开。
