2009ASHRAE手册——基础原理（十六章）翻译实践报告

摘要

本实践报告是基于作者对《2009 ASHRAE手册——基础原理》第十六章的翻译工作完成的。该手册是由美国采暖、制冷与空调工程师学会出版，是一本有关暖通空调制冷方面的权威性手册。随着经济社会的不断发展，中国的暖通空调制冷业迅速崛起与发展。然后，由于起步较晚，我国在这里领域还有多方面的不足。因此，我们需要对国外在此方面的先进技术加以参考和学习。同时，市场与客户对此类科技资料的翻译有了更大的需要和更高的质量要求。在此背景下，对此类书籍的英译在一定程度上将影响到我国暖通空调制冷工业的发展。作者翻译的第十六章节主要介绍了商业用房的气密度和通风率的具体计算实例及其最新信息。还涉及了家庭住宅的冷热负荷的相关计算。
　　在此翻译报告中，作者选择目的论作为指导理论，通过举出翻译过程中的各种实例，来阐明作者如何使用目的论的三原则：目的原则、连贯原则和中式原则，对此次翻译实践进行指导。在本项翻译实践中，作者面临的难题主要是专业术语和长难句的翻译，以及如何兼顾译文的连贯性和逻辑性。根据目的论，作者应用专业词典、查询术语表来解决术语翻译的难题。同时，作者还灵活运用各种翻译技巧和策略，如直译、意译、顺句驱动、调整语序等，以求保证译文质量，达到精准和符合逻辑之目的。
