An Application of Adaptation Theory to the Film Subtitle Translation-A Case Study of Big Bang Theory

摘要

在强调全球化的今天，各民族文化也在不断地互相交流融合，而电影字幕翻译作为了解不同国家生活和习惯的纽带与桥梁更是逐渐吸引广大年轻人的眼球，也成为了翻译研究的一个重要语料储备。电影字幕翻译因其独特性，目前为止还没有一个完整的理论体系可以协助分析，所以存在着一定的局限性。
　　 本文试图解释说明，维索尔伦提出的顺应论是如何应用到字幕翻译中去的，并且采取语用研究方法中的结构角度进行分析，利用美剧《生活大爆炸》中的字幕翻译为语料，分别从音系层、词汇层、句法层和语篇层入手，并且在每个层次下，将出现翻译顺应的情况进行分类，在前人研究的基础上，丰富了结构研究的4个层面，希望为今后字幕翻译的译入语贴合度上，提供一些力所能及的建议。
