摘要

《喧哗与骚动》是威廉·福克纳最成功的一部代表作，它充分体现了福克纳在叙事技巧方面的造诣和才华。在这部作品中，福克纳运用间接的叙事手法塑造了女主人公凯蒂的形象，使得凯蒂的形象符合福克纳的创作初衷：既让凯蒂始终不出场，又让她的形象生动地出现读者的脑海中。本文从不可靠叙述者的可靠性的角度，来探讨福克纳的间接叙事手法对凯蒂形象的塑造的作用，并证明不可靠叙述者与可靠叙述者在对主人物的塑造中一样胜任，从而为解读《喧哗与骚动》这部作品提供另一种可行的方法。
