摘要

阅读是人们获得信息的重要途径。阅读产生于阅读需要和阅读动机。但是,对阅读需要方面的研究是非常有限的。大多数研究是由大学图书馆管理员进行的,目的是为他们的读者提供更好的服务。而中学阅读需要的研究很少。特别是针对高中英语阅读需要的研究几乎没有。因此,对高中生英语阅读需要和阅读成绩进行相关研究以提高他们的阅读能力是有必要的。 本文根据需要以及阅读需要理论调查了高中学生的英语阅读需要。调查包括阅读需要和阅读能力两个变量。通过问卷和阅读能力测试来研究两个变量之间的相互关系。本研究是在福建省漳州市龙文中学高二120个学生中进行的。结果表明:阅读需要影响学生阅读能力;高中学生的英语阅读需要各种各样;内在阅读需要与阅读成绩非常显著地正相关并且他的影响大于其他需要;为社会需求而读与阅读成绩非常显著地负相关;阅读重要性的认识与阅读成绩也显著负相关;其他需要如为乐趣而读、为要求而读以及为将来而读会影响阅读成绩,但其影响不显著。 给高中英语阅读教学的启示:1.应根据学生的需要进行教学;2.应努力激发学生的内在阅读需要;3.应培养学生阅读动机;4.应训练学生的阅读技能。
