中药说明书药名、功效语和结构词英译研究

摘要

中医药是中国文化必不可少的组成部分之一，一直被视为中华民族的瑰宝。随着“一带一路”倡议的提出，越来越多的中药将走出国门，走向国际市场。作为介绍中药的法定重要指南，中药说明书的翻译质量对中药国际化进程发挥着至关重要的作用。目前中药说明书的英译还存在很多问题，如：翻译标准不统一、可读性差、望文生义等。为了解当前中药说明书英译的现状，找出其在内容和格式上存在的问题，本文在药店、医院和互联网上收集了258份有英译版本的中药说明书作为研究语料，采用文本分析和调查问卷的方法对中药说明书英译版本中存在的问题进行了分析和探究。通过引入“目的论”作为指导理论，分别对中药名、功效语和结构词三个重点部分进行研究。为了达到中药说明书译文可读性强、接受度高的目的，在目的论理论的指导下得出以下结论：中药名的翻译应采用意译、创译等方法，功效语的翻译应灵活使用增译和减译等翻译技巧，结构词的翻译应使用统一规范的译文，并补充、完善结构词栏目。
