COMPUTER AIDED MODELING OF RESISTORS USED IN MICs

摘要

The main motivation for the work reported in this paper stems from unsatisfactory accuracy of chip resistor CAD models used in professional microwave circuit design programs. In view to make practical the characterization of a great number of resistors used now in MICs a novel approach has been proposed in the present paper. It is based on computational gathering of data necessary to evaluate the values of elements which enter the equivalent circuit of resistor. Experimental verification of resistor CAD models obtained in such a way confirms the validity of the proposed procedure.
