摘要

In this study, inclined plane shaking table tests were carried out to estimate both static and dynamicrnfriction angle of saw-cut rock joints under dynamic loading conditions. Accelerations andrndisplacements of sliding rock block were obtained in the tests. The static friction angle was backcalculatedrnby measuring yield acceleration at the onset of slide. The dynamic friction angle wasrnestimated by closely approximating the experimental results to the program-simulated response. Therntilt angle was also determined prior to dynamic test. As a result of dynamic testing, the static frictionrnangle at the onset of slide as well as the dynamic friction angle during sliding were estimated to bernsignificantly lower than the tilt angle. The difference between the tilt angle and other friction anglesrnunder dynamic condition was influenced by the magnitude and amplitude of base acceleration andrninclination angle.
