Model-based Development Methodology for Agent-based System

摘要

As internet computing environment increases, systems are becoming complex, large and distributed. Under this situation, in order to provide high quality service with users, the system that has more intelligent or autonomous features than the existing systems is required. Software agent technology is considered as an enable technology to develop such as system, which is called agent-based system. Although the agent-based systems such as multi-agent, web-agent or mobile-agent are constructed, ad hoc development methodologies are applied. In order to develop the agent-based system more efficiently, it is necessary to establish the systematic development methodology. This paper proposes a model-based development methodology to develop agent-based system. The models identified in methodology help conceptualize, analyze and design the agent-based system.
