摘要

Antenna is one of the most important element of any military or civilian electronic equipment. Located at. the interface between the electronic device and the propagation space it turn the energy of electrical currents into the energy of electromagnetic waves when it works like transmission antenna or viceversa when it works like receiving antenna. Due to technological evolution today more and more military systems use antenna arrays. They permit improving the properties of antenna system by controlling the phase and amplitude of each element Also a wide variety of signal processing techniques can be applied. Today multibeam, synthetic aperture and adaptive array systems come to live. The target of the paper is to study the influence of the amplitude current distributions of pattern radiation of the array using facilities offered by computer applications like Mathcad and Matlab. For this binomial, edge and uniform distributions are considered. In order to compare different distributions the field patterns are expressed as functions of cos( ) like for Dolph-Tchebyscheff.
