'e-tailing' refers to the retailing of products online, in other words implementing business-to-consumer e-commerce. Here we describe the next generation of web-stores wherein a new smart interface is provided which adapts itself to the user's taste & presents the relevant products to him. These would be tactically chosen products mined using special retrieval techniques from the universal product database. The system proposed also features a special interface for machines (mainly, web-enabled devices) which would allow the machine to make intelligent decisions, i.e. buying products as and when required. Another Store optimization technique proposed is to present 3-Dimensional models of the prospective product rather than the conventional 2-Dimensional images by using a strategic streaming technique which would project a better image even with bandwidth constraints. The system would employ many concurrent processes to perform the required tasks. This high degree of parallelism would entail performance optimization in terms of lower response-times.
