The research project has a descriptive character that involves a small sample of a Venezuelan secondary school educational staff, in order to do an review of the presence grade of the Emotional Intelligence in such Educational Unit. The theoretical framework include allopathic and china traditional medicine reviews and the methodological strategy followed include action-research information gathering. The main purpose to do a holistic diagnostic evaluation of the Emotional Quotient (EQ) in educational staff of such institution. Specifically it was applied a relevant questionnaire, to a representative sample of the professorship, being obtained resulted very assorted; where it could be seen that in a general scale, the Emotional Knowledge of the educational shows some deficiencies. However, the individual analysis of the manifest results the variety of present cases, where a teachers minority demonstrate the prominent dominance of their EQ. Some results shown that: The Emotional Knowledge influences unquestionably the daily development of all person, and The evaluation of this aspect could be made first of qualitative and individual way.
