Future World Demand for Major Metals

摘要

The total world demand in 2050, split up on twelve areas, and the corresponding need for mining, is predicted for aluminum, copper, iron, nickel, lead and zinc. The work is based upon an analysis of the uses from 1965 to 2000 and considers future population and economic growth, recycling and possible technological improvements.
