The importance of the diecasting process is primarily the economic production of complex parts. The light metal alloys are manufactured either in a hot chamber process or in a cold chamber process - depending on alloy and casting. The technical innovations on the equipment in the complete process of diecasting prove the trend towards the largely automated casting cell. Through further optimization, among other things in the area of process control, further criteria can be shown which have influence on productivity and quality.
