摘要

There are several pollution pathways in aquatic ecosystems induced by pesticides, including the discharge of industrial waste of pesticides and intensive use in agriculture. Among these pesticides, most of them are continuously discharged into aquatic environments through the surface runoff. Because of both increasing industrial productions and excessive use in agriculture, pesticides are became a major pollution in the aquatic environment. We therefore need to identify the appropriate methodological tools for assessing the impact of pesticides on aquatic ecosystems. In the present paper, the progress and prospects in this field in China was reviewed, and several methods in ecotoxicology monitoring and risk assessment of pesticides to aquatic ecosystems were also introduced .
