Application of Titanium Alloys in Sheet Metal Forming

摘要

This paper focuses on the modeling and application of titanium sheet metal (cp-Ti2) in deep drawing processes. Therefore, uniaxial tensile tests and tribological investigations have been performed with cp-Ti. FE simulations performed with ABAQUS/Explicit indicate good conformance with deep drawing experiments.
