A STUDY ON CHANGE IN TRAVEL BEHAVIOR ONCEGIVEN STATED AREAL ACTIVITY INFORMATION

摘要

The study aims to comprehend whether the expressway users during driving in the rural areaare intrigued with the information brought regarding to some kinds of area-wide attractiveactivities. A stated preference approach is applied in the case that they meet with heavy trafficcongestion on the expressway. The study suggests that such information as attractive placesand events in the rural area is worth changing in drivers' travel behavior. In this context, thestudy basically consists of three key words of 'rural ITS', 'efficient utilization of the road'and 'revitalization of the rural economy'.
