LONG DISTANCE CORRIDORS ON THE TRANSEUROPEAN ROAD NETWORK

摘要

This paper gives an overview of activities by the Euro-regional projects CENTRICO,STREETWISE and CORVETTE in their cooperative effort to demonstrate ITS measuresdirected to long distance traffic on a dedicated Long Distance Corridor on the Trans EuropeanRoad Network. The paper describes the set up of the demonstration, the user needs analysis,identification of the key areas for demonstration activities, project set up and the progress ofthe project up till now.
