Strategic Countermeasures Study on HighwayModernization Construction in China

摘要

In its reform and open up process during the last two decades or so, China has prioritizedtransport in its national economic development and made great efforts in constructingtransport infrastructure. This paper discusses the countermeasures of highway modernization.Firstly, it introduces the importance of highway modernization to the economy and socialdevelopment; Secondly, it analyzes the highway modernization from both static and dynamicaspects, then it is concluded that the objective system of highway modernization; Thirdly, itindicates the existing development of highway and the goals of highway modernization;Finally, ten countermeasures of highway modernization in China are suggested according tothe analysis above.
