A Nonlinear Regression Model of Rearing Cattle in Biostatistics

摘要

In this present paper, we obtain a mathematical model of rearing cattle by means of the analysis of variance and Minitab software. By resorting to clarify the factors, which affect the cattle growth, we linearize the nonlinear problem. Consequently, the regression model between feedstuff and the ratio of the cattle growth is established naturally. In the amelioration of the model, we generalize the linear equation to cubic equation. Thus after testing the significance of the regression and analyzing the variance, the best feedstuff is obtained from the prediction equation.
