On transport strategy during motorization in China's cities-Shenzhen case study

摘要

Through analysis of the urban transport problems in Shenzhen SEZ where car traffic is just following what happened in western countries, the authors put, using theory of Post-car traffic, a series of transport strategy and policy into practice to boycott the car-flooding motorization process and try to realize the sustainable development. Attention is paid to public transport and P+R system, control on use of the unit or company cars, parking, etc.
