In this paper, an electromagnetic (EM) vortex imaging method based on dual opposite OAM beams is developed. Firstly, the generation approach and radiation characteristics of dual-opposite state OAM beams are studied. Subsequently, the imaging model in multiple-in-multiple-out mode is established accordingly. The point spread function (PSF) is analyzed, and the imaging method based on fast Fourier transform (FFT) is proposed to reconstruct the target profiles. Simulation results show good agreement with theoretical analyses. The proposed imaging scheme can benefit the design of OAM-based radar systems and promote its applications in remote sensing realms.
