We used a combination of tritium samplingrnanalysis, thermal imagery, and hydrodynamicrnmodeling to produce a quantitative explanationrnof higher-than-expected tritium concentrationsrnmeasured at Steel Creek Landing during a periodrnwhen the Savannah River swamp was flooded.rnThe key points are:rn) There was very little communicationrnbetween the Savannah River and the muchrnsmaller flow through the flooded swamp.
