SOURCE MATERIAL OF BAUXITE DEPOSITS IN NORTHERN CHINA

摘要

A view on the source of karst bauxite deposits in North China was proposed, namely the residua of chemical weathering of Cambrian-Ordovician base carbonatite and mudstone intercalations are the major source, no excluding the participation of small quantities of old land fragments in certain areas. The reasons why it is more convincible than other views were discussed based on statistical data, field survey by the author and many previous studies.
