APPLICATION OF OPEN COAXIAL RESONATOR AS SENSOR FOR MICROWAVE MOISTURE METER

摘要

This paper deals with the application of the resonator method for microwave moisture metering in weakly-hydrated friable materials. The expressions which relate the permittivity of wet materials with the Q-factor and frequency shift of the resonator are presented. The test results of the microwave moisture meter equipped with the resonator sensor and operating at the frequency of 2.5 GHz are described.
