摘要

An improved quasi-one dimensional strain SHPB method was used to study the dynamic mechanical behavior of materials under passive confining pressure state. The effects of mechanical behavior of the confining jacket material and its geometrical sizes on the experimental results are discussed. Thus the dynamical Poisson's ratio s dynamical Young's modulus E_s and dynamical compressive yield strength Y of the material at high strain rate can be obtained. The frictional force between the specimen and jacket and its effects on the axial stress-strain relationship under passive confining pressure are further analyzed. The correction to the elastic constants of the material was given.
