HANDLING IMPRECISION IN PAIRWISE COMPARISON: For better group decisions in weighting

摘要

The present paper describes an original contribution to handling imprecision in multi-criteria group decision making. Based on Monte Carlo simulation, this approach allows the generalization of any deterministic pairwise comparison method. Furthermore, it extends the practical interest of the pairwise comparison concept to a wider variety of inputs. For instance, it can provide a useful aid in concurrent engineering.
