摘要

Monte Carlo simulation was carried out for hard-sphere chain fluids near an attractive square-well surface. The density profile near surface is affected by the attractive potential comparing with that near neutral surface, our density functional theory approach is capable of predicting such variation. It is also found that the amount of adsorption depends on not only bulk density but also strength of attraction. And adsorbed configuration analysis shows that qualitative agreement can be obtained between Scheutjens-Fleer theory and our off-lattice simulation data.
