摘要

The aim of the present work was to investigate drying kinetics of PHB in combined microwave and RPFB drying.The results confirm that combined microwave and rotating pulsed fluidized bed (RPFB) drying of PHB led to low values of final moisture content,and for some experimental conditions the specified value for this product was achieved (< 0,5 % w.b.).The influence of drying conditions on the dried PHB was verified by means of adsorption isotherm,molar mass,thermal analysis,and scanning electronic microscopy; and it was possible to affirm that the operating conditions applied are secure to maintain the PHB characteristics.
