OBJECTIVE To investigate the changes of the small intestinal mucosal histopathological injury and the intestinal mucosal immunization barrier in the rats with lipopolysaccharide (LPS) stimulation and sudden change in ambient temperature.METHODS The expression of CD4+,CD8+ and CD20+ in ileum of rats was studied with immunohistochemical staining,and stereological methods were used for analysis.RESULTS When LPS stimulation was given and ambient temperature changed,pathological lesion in intestinal mucosal of the rats occurred to various degrees.The number density (Nv) of CD4+,CD8+ decreased,while that of CD20+ increased.CONCLUSIONS Both LPS stimulation alone and LPS stimulation+sudden change in ambient temperature can result in lesion of the mechanical barrier and influence the immunization barrier in intestinal mucosal tissue.
