South Pole Station Redevelopment Project

摘要

The National Science Foundation (NSF) Office of Polar Programs (OPP), the lead agency for the U.S. antarctic Program, has completed the design and started construction of a replacement station at the geographic South Pole, Antarctica. This paper provides a historical review of the concept development, design process, and project management procedures for the South Pole Redevelopment Project (SPRP).
