Evaluation and experience with the use of a combined impinger and canister method for the measurement of HAP emissions from wood products industry sources

To meet the specific needs of the Industry-Funded Wood Products MACT Study,a unique test method was developed for speciatin of volatile and semivolatile polar and non-polar compounds included on the 1990 Clean Air Act Amendments list of hazardous air pollutants (HAPs).Additionally,non-HAP compounds such as terpenes,which may have a significant contribution to a mill's total VOC emissions,are also speciated by this method.
