Introduction to Patterns Through Writing Systems Engineering Patterns

This course addresses the subject of writing patterns to communicate the practices of Systems Engineering. The need for thisrntutorial was suggested from audience reaction to the Haskins paper presentation at the INCOSE symposium in DC. Thisrnintroductory pattern writing course covers a brief history of the patterns movement, a survey of the variety of pattern forms, andrnan exercise in which the participants actually write a pattern and conduct an actual workshop of their pattern.
