Heavy-Duty Shipping Sacks with Improved Performance

Polyethylene-based heavy-duty shipping sacks are used around the world to packagernand ship products such as soil, fertilizer, mulch, gravel, consumer goods and pelletizedrnpolymer resins. Estimates show that approximately 1,000 kt of polyethylene isrnconverted into heavy-duty sacks annually on a global basis. Much of the resin used tornfabricate heavy-duty sacks are conventional LLDPE and LDPE resins. Sacks madernfrom C6 m-LLDPE blends and coextrusions are stronger and have higher overallrnperformance. This enhanced performance offers end user the potential for cost savingrnthrough downgauging, I.e., using thinner bags, while achieving improved packagingrnintegrity, I.e., fewer bag breaks and product loss.
