Abstract: Optical response measurements are presented for granular, predominantly c-axis oriented crystalline YBaCuO films prepared by electron beam multi-layer evaporation to infrared radiation. The results appear to indicate that both bolometric and nonbolometric components contribute to the optical responses. For a typical patterned film of area 100 $MUL 40 $mu@m, the responsivity is above 10$+3$/ v/w, the NEP is 10$+$MIN@11$/ w, and D* is 10$+3$/ cm(Hz)$+1/2$/ /w to wavelength range of 8-14 $mu@m, chopped at a frequency of 80 Hz.!
