Abstract: A model based on the diffusion of the vortices is proposed in order to describe the flux creep and the flux flow regimes in high Tc films in which a bias current flows when no large magnetic field is applied. We show how it is possible, from the results of the model, to estimate the effective superconductive thickness of the samples and the main quantities characterizing the flux creep regime. In the flux flow regime, the model accounts for the non-linear current- voltage curves which are actually measured. !20
