摘要

For wheeled device frame design engineers, how to make an outline of frame efficiently and form it in optimization are primary design objectives. Despite FEA ( Finite Element Analysis ) are widely used in vehicle frame design, engineers still find the optimal design by using engineering optimal methods or try & error method. In this study, an automatic topology optimization design method, called SFSD (Simple Fully Stressed Design Method) , that integrated FSD ( Fully Stressed Design ) concept and commercial FEA software are presented. By utilizing this new method, engineers will reduce time on making a new structure design. The most benefit to engineers is to abridge sensitivity calculation. That means engineers can integrate this method with the frame design more easily. This paper illustrates the SFSD method successfully with the frame design of electro-motorcycles and bicycles.
