摘要

Although significant efforts have been made to characterize bond between concrete substrate and cement-based repairs, information concerning the interface toughness is still lacking at present. Toughness is considered an important property to achieve a robust and durable repair.An attempt to characterize the Mode-I fracture behavior of a concrete-FRC interface is presented in this paper. Crack growth resistance curves computed from the results of Contoured Double Cantilever Beam (CDCB) tests are presented and discussed. Furthermore, indirect tensile strength values from splitting tension tests are provided.
