Theoretical Analysis and Design Modification of PDM for Air Drilling

This paper outlines three design modifications of thernconventional power section of PDM operating on air.rnTheoretically, an increase in power output can be achieved byrnusing motor power section with variable cross sectional area.rnThe paper discusses the energy relationships for the variousrndesign modifications. Also the paper offers insights to thernadvantages and disadvantages of various designs.
