Through its partnership with the Florida Solar Energy Center (FSEC), the Florida Energy Office/Department of Community Affairs (FEO/DCA), the Florida Municipal Power Association (FMPA), the Florida Municipal Electric Association (FMEA) and its member utilities, and various members of local communities, the SunSmart Community Partnerships Program has the potential to offer solar technologies to over one-million electric ratepayers in Florida. The goal of the SunSmart Community Partnerships Program is to bolster municipal utilities' efforts to develop sustainable green energy programs.
