摘要

The SOM projected successfully the high-dimensional input space (wear scar image) into a 3-dimensional graphic representation. The results of this study suggest that simulator tested components contain wear scar features which isolate them from the majority of retrieved components. The understanding of these features may help to improve the validity of preclinical wear testing.
