1. New low temperature synthesis route 2. A novel ultrasonic sol-gel synthesis method was introduced for the synthesis of SVO. β -AgVO_3 was synthesized in half an hour by ultrasonically. The reaction between V_2O_5 gel and Ag_2O powder was accelerated. 3. By varying the Ag/V ratio of reactants, Ag_2V_4O_(11) and Ag_(1.2)V_3O_8 with excellent electrochemical properties were also obtained. 4. Solid electrolyte should be adopted when SVO was used as cathode active material in lithium secondary battery because of the solubility of Ag~+ in liquid electrolyte.
