Recent progress on large-scale integrated arrayed-waveguide grating devices

摘要

This paper reviews recent progress on ultra-high density AWGs composed of silica-based PLCs with a higher core-to-cladding index contrast. The paper describes the characteristics of such AWGs and methods for low loss fiber connection and crosstalk reduction.
