摘要

The aluminum alloys have been widely used into the vehicles and ships. In the arc welding of sheets of these products, the welding distortion has been still in existence as a heavy subject. (1) The means of reduction of the welding distortion are classified into the two methods and one is prevention and another is correction. The correction method is further classified into the heating and mechanical methods. In the heating methods the distortion is corrected by the combination use of local gas flame heating and water cooling. (2) And this method is effective. But there are some problems in this method that it greatly depends on personal technic and is difficult to correct automatically. So, we select the mechanical method in which automatic control can be used relatively easily about the stiffened panel because there are many fillet joints in welding of ship structure.
