摘要

In the paper the new automatic method for recognizing faces, determining the facial asymmetry and a new frontal facial asymmetry measures are proposed. These new factors and measures are the great help in designing more novel and automatic methods for recognizing not only the faces but also determining the dominance of a proper brain hemisphere. The examples of the implementation of the method are presented and compared with the improved method derived by Milczarski, Kompanets and Kurach [14] and the Anuashvili's [1] method for the estimation of verical axis. The results of the estimation may be used for designing absolutely novel e-learning technologies, for choosing an appropriate type of learning program for bilateral, left-brain, or right-brain thinker, or for synthesis of synergic work collectives. The method may be used for automatic identification of the mentioned above personality types in the future.
