Solutions were attempted for cases A and B using a potnetial flow model. Case C was not attempted, as the wave would have broken before reaching the wall. Runup was predicted well for case A, although agreement with recorded wave gauge surface elevations is not as good. Runup is overpredicted in case B, which is partly due to the inherent neglect of viscous effects in the potential flow assumption.
