Three-Dimensional Analysis of Long Wave Runup on a Conical Island by using the MAC Method

In order to reproduce the runup process of solitary wave on an island accurately, both the nonlinearity and the dispersion effect should be taken into account in the numerical simulations. In this study, some improvements are made on the MAC method to conduct a numerical simulation of tsunami around a conical island, and the results are compared with the experimental ones.
